Personal Skills
Many PR and comms professionals are not yet working with AI writing tools for various reasons. Some are unsure how to use them. Others dismiss AI as an inferior writer. And some just don’t feel comfortable with the whole concept of artificial intelligence. Whatever your hesitation, this practical workshop will show you how AI language tools can become your ideal writing partner. You’ll learn how AI can help you generate ideas, tighten briefs, summarise information, write new content, and edit and proofread draft documents. Using your chosen AI apps, you’ll learn how to write better, faster and more easily.

You will be working with your laptops and AI tools. Make sure you have access to them and have downloaded the latest versions of your chosen AI apps. If you’re not sure which apps to choose, opt for ChatGPT, Google Gemini or Microsoft Copilot. You should also bring a subject you’re familiar with for the practical exercises.
