The Race and Ethnicity Equity Board (REEB) is dedicated to driving meaningful change within the PR and communications industry by promoting race and ethnicity equity. Comprised of a diverse group of practitioners with extensive personal and professional expertise, REEB offers guidance and advice to individuals and organisations committed to fostering inclusivity and equity. The Board actively collaborates with like-minded groups striving for similar goals and leverages its network to establish connections and partnerships. Through practical initiatives and strategic collaboration, REEB aims to create a more equitable and representative industry.

PRISM Mentoring Programme
The PRISM Mentoring Programme - led by our Race & Ethnicity Equity Board (REEB) - is freely available to PR and communications professionals globally, PRISM offers a structured mentoring programme to practitioners across all sectors.
The programme has been created to provide meaningful support to Black, Asian and ethnically diverse professionals, with the aim of inspiring a generation of talent to progress in their careers.
Applications open on February 2026.

Behind the Mask: The Invisible Struggle of Global Majority Men in UK PR and Communications
REEB exists to support ethnically diverse PR and communications colleagues. According to the PRCA UK Census 2023, 88.2% of PR and communications professionals classify themselves as White and the number of women working in the industry is 67.8%. This signals the importance of this piece of work which aims to explore and provide an unfiltered account of the lived experience of a group of men from diverse backgrounds working in PR and communications.
REEB has conducted individual depth interviews with 6 PR and communications professionals from Black, Asian, and mixed heritage working in-house and agency side at various stages of their careers to develop recommendations which can be used to improve the industry. The names of all research participants and any identifiable information have been changed to protect their identity.
