PRCA UK Awards Rules of Entry
Please make sure you read all of the points below before submitting your entry.
For full guidance, download our Entry Toolkit.
Eligibility and Confidentiality
The PRCA UK Awards are open to all parties involved in PR and communications globally, including PR consultancies, freelancers, in-house communications teams, digital agencies, and media owners.
Organisations may submit multiple entries across all categories and may enter the same category more than once. However, no organisation may be shortlisted more than three times per category.
Campaign Award entries must relate to work carried out between 18th July 2024 and 17th July 2025.
For team- or consultancy-focused categories (rather than individual or campaign categories), all figures and data must relate to your most recent financial year.
Your Entry
Entries must not exceed 1,000 words across a maximum of 4 sides of A4. Entries that exceed this will be disqualified.
Submit your entry as a Word document or PDF.
AVEs (Advertising Value Equivalents) are not permitted. Entries using AVEs will be disqualified.
All entries must be submitted online, with the required documentation included.
Images should be embedded within the main entry document to support your submission.
Entrants are responsible for ensuring they have obtained the necessary permissions to use any intellectual property related to the brand or client.
The Campaign of the Year will be selected from the winners of the Campaign Award categories.
The Research and Evaluation in a Campaign Award (sponsored by CARMA) will be judged from the pool of Campaign Award entries.
Judges will assume any celebrity or third-party involvement has been paid for unless stated otherwise.
For integrated campaigns, clearly outline the role and results of the PR activity, alongside other marketing disciplines.
State the campaign budget. If part of a broader integrated campaign, specify both the PR budget and the approximate overall campaign budget.
Payments
All payments must be made in £ sterling, via the entry website.
Supporting Documents and Video/URL Links
Supporting materials (e.g. press cuttings, URLs, videos) are optional.
If including a video, it must not exceed 4 minutes.
Judges will review supporting documents only where entries are otherwise indistinguishable. Please ensure your main entry contains all essential information.
Feedback on Entries
Due to the volume of submissions, we cannot guarantee feedback on all entries.
If you would like to request feedback, please contact awards.team@prca.global. Where possible, we will provide a response.
