UK Young Lions Competition 2026
Enter our UK Young Lions Competition and win the chance to represent the UK in the Global PR Young Lions Competition, part of Cannes Lions.
This is your opportunity to showcase your creative talent, work on a real brief for a meaningful cause, and compete against the UK's best young PR professionals for a place at the global competition.
How the UK Competition Works
A brief will be provided by an NGO, charity, or company dedicated to a good cause who will act as the client, and participating teams will be given 24 hours to create a campaign.
The UK competition will replicate the Cannes Lions competition as much as possible.
Timeline
- Registration closes on Friday, 27th February, at 17:00
- The NGO / charity will be announced to all teams by email on Tuesday, 3rd March, along with the competition rules.
- The brief will be circulated to all teams by email at 10:00 on Wednesday, 4th March - this is when the competition begins.
- Completed campaigns will need to be emailed back to the PRCA by 10:00 on Thursday, 5th March - in the form of a 10 page PowerPoint presentation, a 1 page summary slide and a written submission of no more than 450 words delivered as a Word document. Campaigns will then be judged by a UK Jury.
- A shortlist of 6 campaigns will then deliver via Zoom a 5 minute presentation to the Jury, explaining the PR campaign on Wednesday, 25th March.
- The winning team will be notified by Thursday, 26th March.
Entry Fees
The cost to enter is £325 + VAT per (PRCA member) team and £550 + VAT per (non-member) team.
