Summary

In today’s data-rich, insight-hungry environment, PR and communications professionals are increasingly expected to interpret, communicate, and act on complex information. Yet, even the most compelling data can fall flat if it's misunderstood, miscommunicated or misinterpreted due to unconscious bias.

This hands-on, immersive course combines two essential skills for modern communicators: recognising and mitigating cognitive bias in data analysis and decision-making and crafting impactful data-driven storytelling that move audiences to think, feel, and act.

Participants will explore the psychology of bias and how it affects analysis, team dynamics, client relationships and stakeholder decisions. Through real-world examples and interactive exercises, they’ll learn how to spot common cognitive traps and adopt practical techniques to challenge assumptions and improve judgment.

Trainer: Dr. Sofia Tzamarelou
