Building Confidence in your Role - BRISTOL
Personal Skills
Summary
This job can feel like walking a tightrope. There’s pressure to be creative, credible and clear; ongoing judgement from clients, bosses, internal stakeholders, journalists and public opinion; plus you’re expected to be a strategic brain, a crisis firefighter, a storyteller, a diplomat, and sometimes even a magician who makes the impossible happen with no budget and yesterday’s deadline. That’s a lot of hats, and it’s no wonder self-doubt and imposter syndrome can sneak in. So how do you build confidence in yourself and your role, overcome obstacles, issues and fears, and show up as your best and most high-potential self?
