PRCA South Africa Conference 2026 + Sabre Awards
18 Mar 2026 09:00 am to 05:00 pm Africa/Johannesburg
The PRCA South Africa Conference returns on Tuesday 17th March and Wednesday 18th March 2026 for two days of insight, discussion, and sector-wide collaboration at The Venue Melrose Arch in Johannesburg.
Built in partnership with PRovoke Media, this year’s programme brings senior leaders, agency specialists, and in-house teams together to explore the ideas and shifts influencing the continent’s communications landscape.
A Two-Day Format Designed for the Whole Team
Day One offers a full programme of keynote sessions, expert panels, and practical discussions covering the themes shaping public relations in 2026.
Day Two opens with two parallel morning options:
- Agency Drop-In Sessions
Full conference attendees will spend the morning visiting participating local agencies (to be confirmed). These small-group sessions offer open conversations, shared challenges, and the chance to see different approaches in action across Johannesburg. - PRCA Africa NextGen Half-Day Conference
Running at the same time at The Venue Melrose Arch, this dedicated morning is ideal for junior colleagues wanting to build confidence, sharpen practical skills, and grow their own networks. It’s a focused learning space designed for emerging practitioners.
Both groups reconvene at The Venue Melrose Arch at lunchtime for a shared meal. After lunch, the NextGen programme concludes and full conference delegates continue with the afternoon’s main sessions.
A First for the SABRE Awards
The African SABRE Awards will take place in South Africa for the very first time, and this edition marks the first-ever partnership between PRCA and PRovoke Media for the ceremony. The awards will be held as part of the conference on the evening of Wednesday 18th March, celebrating strategic excellence, creativity, and meaningful impact across the continent.
